Living Room Transformation

Before and After. . .

It all started last May when we (Becca) decided to remove our humongous built-in entertainment center from our living room. This turned out to be quite the ordeal with no small amount of grumbling. In the process, we discovered that there was no carpet underneath it and the drywall behind it was in need of repair. So . . . the great living room overhaul began. We’d been wanting new carpet anyway so this was a good additional incentive. Saving commenced. Then life interrupted a couple times. Fast forward 8 months!

No more gray couch, no more Hercules, no more ugly old gray carpet that used to be semi-white. We finally have new carpet, the dry wall has been fixed and decorated (this is one of the few wall spaces in the house), and we decided we had to have couches for our small group so we also found those. We (Becca) are very happy!
