Not a Joke

Good thing I didn’t post this yesterday or you would have thought it was April Fools: We made cinnamon muffins and then biscuit monkey bread for breakfast and I have even chopped some carrots and celery today. 😉 I’m not sure who is going to eat the veggies though.

  1. Leah N You rock!

SjaakGinny V …since you got rid of your rabbit!

Lisa S my kiddos gobbled down carrot coins when I gave them a dip – sour cream mixed with however much taco seasoning you want 🙂

Allie W Wow Rebecca Moehring! You are nesting out there!
Rebecca Diltz Nate Moehring It’s really just because I don’t have any favorite places to eat yet. 😉

Erin S Make some hummus to go with the veggies!
Rebecca Diltz Nate Moehring Erin, you are expecting a lot from me when I’ve already done so much. 😉
Erin S Hummus is easy! Especially if you use canned chickpeas. Put chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt in a food processor and turn it on. 🙂
Rebecca Diltz Nate Moehring Ok Erin,, I just need to buy chickpeas, tahini, and a food processor. Ha. Actually, when we moved I found my processor that I thought I had sold, so just need a couple other ingredients.
Erin S I love my food processor. We use it to make pizza dough frequently, as well as hummus. Adam also prefers it to hand grating large blocks of cheese for quesadillas and zucchini for zucchini bread. It’s also good for scone dough and pie crust. And I know you should be able to find chickpeas and tahini in Cali.
Erin S This is the recipe I use, although it’s pretty easy to adjust it to your tastes. Notice there’s only three steps with step #3 being serve…http://weelicious.com/2011/01/12/hummus/
