Seaside Lagoon

The kids are having a lot of fun with this group. It is more age-specific so their friends are close to their ages and they have a lot of fun playing together. Ben and Hannah even split up a little and play with the other kids instead of just with each other. The whole group gets along nicely and I like the mommas too. 😉 Hoping this will be our main group to do stuff with in the fall. We’ll see how it goes.

Seaside Lagoon is a little man-made water park/lake area right next to the coast. They pump in seawater (Hannah says yucky water), but it is pretty shallow all around, except by the water slides and it is enclosed which makes it a lot easier to relax while the kids are playing. The sand is nice and soft as well and makes good castles. It’s not crazy expensive, so that is a plus. Overall, enjoyable for the kids current age.

I didn’t do a very good job with the sunscreen though (bad mommy) and we were there for about 4 hours, so the kids got a little burned on the spots I missed. But after a couple days, they seem to have recovered.
