We Conquered Tehachapi

Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Diltz for a fun and relaxing week in Tehachapi!

Since, I wasn’t supposed to travel too far, my parents got a week at a resort for us to meet them a couple hours north of LA. I think we did just about all the touristy stuff to do there except the wine tasting. We toured an ostrich ranch, saw the Tehachapi train loop, ate at a couple of very nice restaurants, found some snow to play in up on the mountain, Nate convinced my mom to go running with him, Grandma picked out the hardest puzzle at the resort to try to complete, opened presents, made Christmas cookies, fed the ducks, played card bingo (and won some prizes), saw deer and elk and rabbits, flew a wish lantern, sang songs, watched movies, opened presents and played with toys.
We let the kids spread out their presents so they would have some things to play with early on in the week. It was more fun that way since they usually want to play with whatever they open right away anyway. 🙂
