Indiana Trip

We had a great time seeing tons of extended family in Indiana for a cousin wedding. Of my 74 hours of drive/ride time from Gardena to West Lafayette (via Phoenix and San Antonio), 30 of it -almost half -was in TX!
We ate lots of great food, went to a small water park, played at a large outdoor park, took over the hotel swimming pool, and enjoyed a fun wedding. Congratulations to Mike and Katie! While the rain held off during the ceremony, we did get a little bit wet during the reception (we just took our shoes off). . . but we got a beautiful rainbow around 8pm! Joel got to meet everyone and spend a little bit of time with my grandpa.
We took one ‘field trip’ to visit the battlefield of Tippecanoe where William Henry Harrison became the war hero that helped him in his successful campaign to become President. Benjamin thought it was cool that they had the same middle name. 😉
