Trust in Daddy

Jesus tells us we’re supposed to have faith like a child. Some people reject this because they think it means having faith means not using your brain or asking questions.
One of the great things about being a dad is that God gets to regularly reveal things to me through my children.
I’ve been putting Joel on my back while doing chores around the house in order to allow both Rebecca and I to get things done at the same time. This is not without risk for Joel, it is easy to knock him into things our swing him around too fast. Yet Joel enjoys the ride and falls asleep.
Bottom line: Joel’s faith in me is based relationship, not based on facts or convincing arguments. We cant expect to have peace in our own faith life without relationship with our heavenly Father. Faith like a child, Trust, comes from relationship.
