HMS – Handheld, Manpack, and Small Form Fit

-I work on state of the art software defined radios for soldiers. Our line of radios includes two that soldiers actually carry around (Handheld and Manpack) and a line of smaller
radios (Small Form Fits) that come in all shapes designed to go into multiple different unmanned platforms. Examples of these are aerial and ground UAVs, intelligent sensors, and munition
systems.

I was promoted in early 2007 and am currently working as a software systems team member. My main duties are to ensure that the systems vision and documentation
matches what the implementers are coding and work any issues or conflicts that arise as we try to implement this vision and meet customer requirements.
