CFCI rents a house in a very poor neighborhood and provides a food ministry twice a week to the children of about fifteen families in the area.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.themoehrings.com\/zp\/albums\/4.Friends\/2019\/00%20wfa\/06%20guatemala\/06-12%20rescue%20project\/05.JPG?resize=1500%2C1125&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1125\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We went early in the morning to start preparing lunch.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.themoehrings.com\/zp\/albums\/4.Friends\/2019\/00%20wfa\/06%20guatemala\/06-12%20rescue%20project\/45.JPG?resize=1500%2C1125&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1125\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Those of us without culinary tendencies helped organize the toy room or played with the kids that came early.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.themoehrings.com\/zp\/albums\/4.Friends\/2019\/00%20wfa\/06%20guatemala\/06-12%20rescue%20project\/18.jpg?ssl=1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After lunch we took the whole group to a nearby park (it was pretty run down but the kids had fun). One group of kids played on the slide the entire time and the rest played soccer.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.themoehrings.com\/zp\/albums\/4.Friends\/2019\/00%20wfa\/06%20guatemala\/06-12%20rescue%20project\/70.JPG?resize=1500%2C1200&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It started to sprinkle so we brought the kids that remained back for our Jonah skit and games. One girl played her violin for us.
