Today is Miscarriage and Infant Loss Remembrance Day and today we remember our five babies in heaven.<\/p>\n

It is nice to have one day a year for awareness and remembrance. Of course, grief doesn’t confine itself, but it lets me feel like it is ok to put it out there for you all. Yes, it still hurts. Yes, every now and then I think how old they would be and what they would like to do and how crazy our life would be. Yes, I still get triggered. Yes, I love the children I do have but no, they don’t fill those holes. Yes, we are done ‘having children’ but no, we aren’t done bringing kids into our home and family.<\/p>\n
