\nYes, today was my due date. No, baby boy Moehring has not decided to come out to play (yet).<\/p>\n
We had a check-up appointment this morning. I\u2019m 2-3 cm dilated and the doctor stripped my membranes in hopes of getting things going. This is actually better news than last time around when I had no dilation even on the day of my induction. An appointment to induce this little one is set up for next Thursday evening (19th) and my specific OB will be on call at the hospital starting next Friday. We\u2019re still hoping to deliver before then \u2013 but at least there is an end in sight. Doctor estimates he weighs 7 \u00bd lbs which is about what Hannah was so we aren\u2019t worried about him being too big. Even though my leave doesn\u2019t officially start at work until the baby comes, I\u2019m on \u201cvacation\u201d. The plan is to go back in January after the holiday shut downs.<\/p>\n
In other news, Hannah has decided that she is a night owl (gets it from her dad) and has been getting up and playing in the 12:30 to 2:30 timeframe. Sometimes she stays in her room and sometimes she roams the house. We\u2019ve been trying to ignore her so she will realize we aren\u2019t going to play with her, but last night turned into a 2 hour screaming session when we put her back into her room. I guess we are getting some additional practice for sleepless nights.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
