What has happened since the last update . . .<\/p>\n
– 2 baby showers<\/p>\n
– Trip to Fort Collins for Moehring Thanksgiving<\/p>\n
– Trip to Disney in LA<\/p>\n
– Visitors from Down Under<\/p>\n
– Trip to Grand Canyon<\/p>\n
– Mom and Dad came to visit for Christmas<\/p>\n
– (and we missed the great Henry gathering for New Years, bummer)<\/p>\n
I have had some version of the flu since the day after Christmas, it really knocked me out. And it didn’t help that I couldn’t take any of the good medications. In the few days that I was having fever, I didn’t feel the baby moving so I took a trip to the hospital to make sure everything was alright. Ultrasound came back good and baby has been moving around more again since then. They told me I was having some ‘practice’ contractions, but I couldn’t feel any. The baby has also dropped and even though I can’t believe it, I’ve been having to use the restroom even more than before.<\/p>\n
I had a doctors appt today and my doctor thinks the baby weighs about 6 pounds. I lost a couple pounds (due to the sickness) but as you can see from the picture, I’m quite large (for me).<\/p>\n
We went baby shopping with all our gift cards after Christmas and came up with some good deals. We now have almost all the essentials and the nursery is starting to look like a baby’s room. I just have some little projects I’d like to finish before baby arrives since I don’t think I’ll have time for them afterwards.
