I have a genetic mutation called Metylene-Tetra-Hydro-Folate-Reductase which is shortened to MTHFR. It means that I am 8 to 40 times more likely to have blood clots than people without this mutation. So they think this is why I’m having the miscarriages.<\/p>\n
Also, if you have this mutation you should not go on birth control pills because they also increase your risk of blood clots. My doctor was very surprised that I hadn’t had any complications due to being on the pill for as long as I was.<\/p>\n
