So once again, I remind myself why I have nothing breakable in my house.<\/p>\n
I managed to break a 42 inch diameter (round) glass patio table into about a thousand little pieces in my back yard yesterday. While that was not a really horrible experience since I am used to breaking things, about half of the thousand little pieces fell into the rocky section of the patio (I now hate whoever decided it was a good idea to have small rocks be their landscaping). Ugh! <\/p>\n
So picking up the pieces that landed in the grass and on the concrete consisted of using a broom and dustpan, but we ended up having to go buy a shop vac to pick up all the little shards out of the rocks so my pets won’t eat them. Nate wanted a shop vac anyway, but still.<\/p>\n
I do have to say that I think this tops the day I dropped a whole stack of my mom’s china plates. Of course the china was more expensive, but I definately made a bigger mess and it took a lot longer to pick up. <\/p>\n
