I’m so excited I think I’ve finally found a solution to my problem . . . well, one of them at least. I like to scrapbook because I like to have a ‘year book’ of our pictures because I don’t print out each and every one and keep albums. However, I don’t like the feeling of being behind and I already basically photo blog on an almost daily basis. Soooo. . . for awhile (like years) I’ve been trying out products and services to turn our blog into a book in order to preserve the memories as well as tap into the work I’ve already done. There are a few out there, but due to the way we host our site and other issues, I haven’t been able to find one that does what I need.<\/p>\n

I recently tried BlogBooker<\/a> and it seemed like it would do what I wanted, but it wasn’t pulling in my photos correctly. I was so frustrated! Gah! I sent an email off to them just to let them know of the error and . . . they fixed it. Woohoo! Most of the services I’ve found want you to buy a book from them, which makes sense, and I might have if I had found one that worked correctly. But I really wanted something I can edit because even though I do regularly blog, there are still items that don’t make it onto the blog that I want in my yearbook.<\/p>\n

BlogBooker currently makes three file types . . . PDF, Word, and ODT. I like the out of the box PDF and might consider just printing that if I get lazy. But it is really nice to have the Word file because I can add in my little extras and create a TOC and then print the book and everything will be in one place. Yay! Yay! Yay!<\/p>\n
