Per Hannah’s request, I created a sewing unit for her to learn how to sew. We shared our 4 weeks of sewing with some of our homeschool friends and had a fun time learning how to use my machine. I think it was a successful unit and Hannah is still going strong with her crafty ideas.<\/p>\n

Week 1: Learned the ropes and did some messing around with scraps
\nWeek 2: Made a simple tote bag
\nWeek 3: Made a doll outfit (Mommy made a matching Hannah one)
\nWeek 4: Started a dress from a pattern<\/p>\n

Benjamin and a couple other tagalongs were very patient with us as we did our crafting.<\/p>\n


\n We haven’t finished our dress yet because we’ve been a little bit busy, but it will happen. We have it all cut out and pinned, just have to find a time when Joel is asleep to get it done. Hannah has also continued to draw\/design outfits.
