Baby Moehring Update

We had our 16 wk checkup this morning. We heard the heartbeat. It was 170 beats per minute. So, now I feel better knowing that all the stress I put the baby under, its still kicking. You may think that’s funny, but I really worry about that. So now, I feel less worried.

We will have our next ultrasound on Sept 7th. We would normally find out the sex at this appt, but we will have to remember to tell our tech that we don’t want to know and they won’t even put it on the report, so our doctor/nurse won’t know either. I think that is kinda nice.

My appointment next month will be with my doctor’s nurse, I guess so we can get to know her.

We discovered a resale store called Once Upon a Child and I’m pretty excited about it. I got a nice maternity shirt, some Baby Einstein CDs, and a gliding (rocking) chair. We had priced some at Baby’s R Us and Target, but this was a great deal. I’m going to put new fabric over the pillows to match our living room, but other than that, I’m ready to rock.

I’m starting to show a little bit even though I apparently haven’t gained any weight. Somehow my butt and belly have grown, so that doesn’t make any sense to me. I’ll put a couple new pics of me on our website some day.
