1st Trimester Completed

We finished the first trimester of Sonlight P3/4 this week.

In all we read 36 stories, worked on social studies, and science, memorized 6 bible verses, did some handwriting, and did lots of crafts and extra activities. Our potato experiment seems to be going slowly, not sure if its doing what it’s supposed to. Hannah starts her first dance class next week (the kind where the parents aren’t allowed in until the end). 🙂 Hope she enjoys it. I like that most of the Gilbert Rec activities are short, around 6-10 weeks, allowing us to find something we like without spending a bunch of money up front.

The story for this morning was Princess and the Pea from 1st Book of Fairy Tales which Hannah seems to really enjoy. So we did Pea Art! Benjamin was very deliberate putting his peas on the glue line and needed minimal help. Hannah wanted to make her own shape and did a great job.
