We had a wedding for Becca’s cousin in Destin at the end of June 2013 and the kids hadn’t spent very much time at the beach. So we made it a family vacation!
We drove the 3400 mi round trip in our little Civic. Our trip included four new states for our kiddos; Lousiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. We made it there in two days but it took us three days to make it back because we had to visit some friends and the Coopers in San Antonio. The kids are great travelers thanks to video games and DVDs! Becca’s sister Amy and her two girls met up with us mid-week and then Grandpa and Grandma Diltz came in for the weekend and the wedding.
