After some late night planning and mapping we decided we wanted to touch Lake Erie in Buffalo, go to the Anchor Bar (origin of the buffalo sauce), tour Niagara Falls, take a scenic return trip along Lake Ontario and then touch Lake Ontario at a park in Rochester before returning home. It worked out pretty well. We took the Maid of the Mist tour of Niagara and got soaking wet. The park in Rochester was pretty nice with a beach and pier and there was live music that evening by the playground and sailboats to watch on the lake. A long day, but packed in a lot.
