   Kerri H I’m actually super confused about what I’m looking at… It almost looks like a thin carpeted strip near the stairs, but that can’t be right. My eyes are playing tricks on me.

   Rebecca Diltz Nate Moehring 🤣 I had to replace the light fixture above the stairs. I was very thankful for that odd ledge in this case. Becca knew what I was doing and only lightly objected before leaving the house. I asked Ben to please call 911 should he hear me fall. I took this picture for posterity. So I had all my bases covered, and it turned out great! Thank you for your concern everyone. 🙂 -Nate
