We left our house at 3:30am, met up with John and the Massmans and got to DFW Airport and through security with time to eat some breakfast before our flight. We had a little trouble finding our gate to Guatemala in the Mexico City airport but amazingly, we made it with two minutes to spare. We ended up in GUA around 4:30pm with everybody and all our luggage!
This is our transport for the week. Joel calls it the Bumblebee.
Our host, Alex, took us to a chain chicken place called Pollo Campero for dinner and hallelujah, there was a playground!
The mission house is beautiful, we are sleeping on brand new mattresses and bunk beds and there is WiFi!
