Day 2

We started off early in the morning with some work planting 10 rows of sweet potatoes in a community garden. We had fun talking to the leader of the project and learning about his experiments and all the groups he provides food to.

In the afternoon, we split up. Some of the adults and olders helped to paint the walls of church where the Dream Center is operating. We put down a lot of paint in a short time! The youngers volunteered at a local resale store. They all seemed to really like it and asked to go back during the week.
