There was a hermit crab in a shell that the kids brought home from their trip to Boca Chica. Beth had washed the shell in bleach water. Hannah found it on her shelf. Pretty sure they based the Alien movies off of this thing…

Shelly E I had a pet hermit crab growing up (named Herman the Hermit or Hermie). Just a word of caution – they have surprisingly long life spans when they aren’t up against the wild ocean lifestyle. 😁
