5th 6 Weeks of 11th Grade

Hannah wrapped up week 30 at the end of April. 6 weeks left, some subjects are starting to wind down. She has the end of math AND science in sight. 🙂

Hannah is using the bible and theology readings for the Core 300 but doing history at MCC. She has a reading plan on YouVersion she is working through for personal devotion. For theology, she finished Why I Believe and started Case for Christ. For history/social studies, she is enrolled in Dual Credit American History II and English Composition II and only has about a week left. Language Arts is 20th Century Literature. She read The Moves Make the Man, The Tempest, The Wednesday Wars, The Great Gilly Hopkins, and Children of the River. Her poetry book is Robert Frost’s Poems and she has a reading every now and then from Heart to Heart. She has had a number of compositions due for English and History so we have used those for her writing grades. She continues vocabulary with Wordly Wise 3000, Book 11, Latin with Classic Roots C, and word analysis with Analogies 3.

Hannah is wrapping up Chemistry this semester and will be done with all her science credits. Hannah and Benjamin are finished up Spanish I and following up with Spanish II in the fall. They both have a class to take this summer session.

Math is MUS Algebra 2, it is her last math requirement for high school and she is almost done.

Hannah stays busy. Her semester at MCC is winding down and she will only have one class this summer. She is starting spring volleyball training in May and will take a short break from worship leading but still has youth once a week. She works as many shifts at 3 Spoons as she wants to and has lots of cash (she should share with her mom). She teaches a girls class on Wednesdays.  She got her SAT scores and will be applying to Nelson University. She also fills out scholarship applications on the side. She went to prom and finds time to catch a movie or go shopping with friends. We made it to a few of Ginny’s track meets to cheer her on but she missed out on a couple of trips to CP due to work. Planning a trip soon.
