For bible, we do family devotions after breakfast, a few minutes of journaling, and prayer. Hannah and Benjamin are usually there with us for that. Two days a week they head out to MCC right afterwards.
We are doing World View studies this year. She is only doing ‘history’ with me and the rest of her classes are dual credit. We are reading through The Universe Next Door, Total Truth, and our spine is Streams of Civilization I.
Her dual credit load for the fall is ECON, PHYS, and SPEECH. She isn’t too crazy about Physics but it is probably her last math/science ever so we hope she can push through and get a good grade. Othewise, I think she is doing pretty well.
This is Hannah’s last season of volleyball. They made senior jeans for senior sunrise. She got accepted to Nelson University so we are working through all the financial aid process. She is still working a few days a week but had to cut back a bit when Dual Credit started so she could get all her work done. Lots of volleyball for her and still going to some of Ginny’s games and she is a ‘big sister’ to some of the other girls so she tries to watch their games too. She has made some of the football games. She attended Call Rally with a couple other youth and our glow party that we hosted. She finds time to help me with our rentals and drive the other kids to stuff as needed. It’s hard to not point out the “lasts”, but I think she is enjoying her senior year to the fullest.
