Hannah has taken control of her schedule and we find out what she is doing in the morning during devotions most days. 🙂 She maintains her work, school, and friend balance well. I think she’ll have a great time in college next year.
For bible, we do family devotions after breakfast, a few minutes of journaling, and prayer. Hannah and Benjamin are usually there with us for that but two days a week they head out to MCC right afterwards.
Hannah has World View studies this year. She is only doing ‘history’ with me and the rest of her classes are dual credit. We are reading through The Universe Next Door, finished Total Truth, and our spine is Streams of Civilization I.
Her dual credit load for the fall is ECON, PHYS, and SPEECH. She has needed a little bit of tutoring help with Physics, sounds like her professor is distance teaching which makes getting help difficult. She did well on her most recent test though. We have had fun listening to the speeches she has had to work on and she even turned her most recent one into a sermon to share at church.
Hannah has an extensive list of extras. Her weekly ones include youth on Tuesdays, leading Girls Ministries on Wednesdays, attending Girls Ministries and youth on Fridays, and helping with our church worship team. She is starting to train up a replacement. She picks up a few shifts a week at 3 Spoons (frozen yogurt) which keeps gas in her car for all the driving to MCC and TX Wind events.
This unit we wrapped up her senior year of varsity volleyball. Visits from Gram and Grandpa and Grandma and a senior night as well as a trip to Great Wolf Lodge for her end of season tournament. We had a trip to Marble Falls for Becca’s birthday, Family camp with Rangers, a trip to Minnesota for Morgan’s wedding, a Cooper visit, and a Miller visit round out our family activities. Hannah also attended the TX Wind Homecoming dance and managed to make it to a few of the football games. She squeezed in helping us with one VBS and a Hay Barn Festival and also was a leader with our Good News Club at the elementary for 5 weeks.Â
