Day 4

The morning was supposed to be our free day / tourist day. We wanted to try to get the kids to a splash pad or water feature and we wanted to find pizza. We found a nice park with lots of features, but the splash pad was closed. We enjoyed checking out the lake (and ducks) and playing on the play grounds. Then we headed to the Crown Center which is a mall type area to eat at a place called Spin! Pizza and do a little shopping. We found some fountains, but not the kind for playing in (oops).

In the afternoon, 4 of us stayed to help staff a food distribution in the back parking lot. We gave away a lot of food and milk! The rest of the group went to the neighborhood to talk to residents and hand out food.
