Birthday Update

She had her well check yesterday and got three shots. Ouch! She thinks she isn’t growing but the chart shows different – she is 91st percentile for weight and 99th for height.

This year we discovered that she either only has one kidney or one isn’t functioning. We’ll be having regular checkups to make sure that her functioning kidney stays healthy and have modified our (her) diet to be more kidney friendly.

We have one more unit of school to get through before she finishes 5th grade, but have some fun summer activities to give us a break in between school work.
