This is worse than last year, it went through town instead of staying in the river and it stayed higher longer. Businesses were in feet of water, whole buildings floating down the street. Only good news is people had time to get out of the way and so far I’ve only heard of one death.
Crazy!

Paulette N Everyone ok at the Miller’s?
Rebecca yes they had ponds in the front and back and some water came into their garage, but none in the house
Denise C This is devastating news! Ugh!!!
Bill N Beth C I’m praying for everyone on the area. Is your family okay?
Rebecca yes they are safe, but we are starting to hear stories of people who lost everything last year losing everything again. 😔 The CP VFD had a bunch of new equipment donated to them and it’s all ruined again as well as the building even got smushed this time.
Walter A Wow, Gwynn use to live right down the street from that Gibson’s General Store.
Linda V So many homes and businesses flooded. Green Grocer, Mamacitas, Gibsons, Rods Stereo, a medical office. It’s really bad.
Linda V The Courthouse, the entire Casa building.
Lynda T Sending prayers for everyone! Glad you all are ok and your family!
Kathy Conn T And other towns were flooded as well, although Kerrville got the most attention because of last year. Uvalde, Hondo, Del Rio, Brackettville, Castroville
Rebecca comfort, bandera, yep
