Little Flight Engineers

Nate and Hannah built a model rocket awhile back, but we haven’t been able to fly it because of the fire/flight restrictions in our area. We found a nice little rocket club to meet up with on Saturday. They had a nice setup where you could launch off of their stand or use your own. We already had our own, and we wanted the kids to get to push the button so we launched from ours. We also bought one of the club’s premade rockets for Ben to launch. I got some good action shots of the rockets and the kids had fun.

We have a couple more kits to build (and a bunch of extra supplies), so we’ll be doing this again sometime in the fall. 🙂
