Benjamin Update

I’ve already posted a few pictures from Benjamin’s birthday celebrations this year, but this is the whole roundup and photo album link. I still have to make him a collage, but that will have to wait until we get a little more settled into the house.

I had promised Benjamin that if we weren’t in a house yet, he could have his birthday party at a Chuck E Cheese type place . . . and guess what. . . we weren’t in a house yet. Ugh! Fortunately, we ended up having two parties, one with friends at Peter Piper in Waco and one with family at a mini amusement park in San Antonio. So that worked out ok! Daddy made good on a promise to buy Ben a light saber and he has been having fun playing with his new Kylo Ren version.

We had just gotten to celebrate cousin Rhiley’s party with family a couple weeks before and it was just as exciting to see the family all again for Benjamin’s party with the addition of the New York Schader family! The whole Don Diltz family together makes for some pretty wild and exciting times. 😉

Between the parties, Benjamin had his checkup. He is 68th percentile for weight and 61st for height. It appears he is slacking off the growth curve, but I have a feeling we are in for a growth spurt soon.

Overall, we have a happy, healthy 6 year old and we are so blessed to get to watch him grow up.
