Lechner

Lechner Hall is named after Walter W. Lechner and was constructed in 1989.
Mr. Lechner, formerly of Dallas, Texas, died in 1979. He attended Texas A&M
University in 1912 and was one of the principal discoverers of the north portion
of the giant East Texas oil field during the 1920’s. My main scholarship is the
Lechner Scholarship which was made possible by his family.

The Hall

• This is the Freshman Honors Dorm – meaning lots of intelligent people just
  living here so I can get help from them when I need it for class

Hall Heirachy

• Our Hall Director is Shannon – She is nice
• Then we have RA’s – they are the ones who make sure we aren’t breaking any
  rules
• The SA’s (Sophomore Advisors) – are here to guide us and find ways to get
  around the RA’s

My Room

• Room 410 (THAT MEANS 4TH FLOOR)
• My roommate is Lacey Ward from Houston
• I have most of my junk moved in from home
• Very rarely do we see boys on the 4th floor

Events

• We often meet for games, sporting events, and other various activities
• We have a Hall Council (Lacey is a rep)
• As a dorm we voted for 24 Hour Visitation
